Before you edit
Play another video at the same iPhone volume. If that sounds normal, your target video's audio track is likely quiet. If every video is faint, check the speaker, Bluetooth route, and system settings first.
Import the video from Photos
In Volume & Bass Booster, choose Gallery and select the clip. The app opens it in the media editor, where you can play through the loudest and quietest moments before making a change.
Increase volume gradually
Open the Volume control and move up in stages. Preview a section with loud speech, music, or sudden sounds. Those peaks reveal distortion sooner than a quiet intro.
Improve dialogue with the equalizer
Outdoor rumble, handling noise, and air conditioning often occupy low frequencies. Simply amplifying everything makes those noises louder too. A small reduction in the lowest band and a careful lift in the midrange can make voices easier to understand.
Compare, then export
Switch between Original and Boosted at the same device volume. Listen on both the iPhone speaker and the headphones your audience is likely to use. When the result is clear, use Share to export the enhanced version.
What cannot be recovered
Boosting cannot reconstruct speech the microphone never captured or fully remove severe wind, clipping, or background noise. It is most effective when the desired sound is present but its level is simply too low.
